For those of you that have an iPhone, you might be interested in this free app I have heard them advertise on "Absoloute 80s" radio in the UK. Ive been enjoying listening to motown instrumentals on youtube, and i came across this. A kind of dub version of Heaven Must Have Sent You by the Elgins.

Im not sure he did use a phaser. I think he just used a customised high-pass or bandpass filter manually altering it during the mix. Like how you can see Scientist using a high pass in some videos on Sideways55555 youtube channel.

I would like to see more dub versions of other non-reggae genres. Re-mixes (which are usually more of a re-construction than just a re-mix) are common, but I do not know of any "dub versions" of non-reggae tracks. There used to be 5 or 6 multitrack songs on Kocha's Open Dub Foundation website (http://open.reggae-dub.com/), but it looks like it has gone down. Maybe you could try message him to see if the songs are available anywhere else
