It's funny, because on this video I found recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GvhMHJKJvM Scientist explain how it's hard to record drum, and you see it using duct tape to optimize snare sound... It's a bit ridiculous to care so much about snare sound just to replace it after (even If I know it...

agree with dradesman, sounds typically phased piano synth.

I would just had that the quality of teh synth you use can greatly impact the "percusive" feeling of it.

And too, it's obvious, but note should be very short in length (if your not using a keyboard to play them).

Good luck

Nice footage :) I used 'Virtual Dub', which is quite old but useful software for win32. I have AVI-Demux on my newer Linux box, and I would have to say AVI-Demux is better. The scenes were from several movies, and some of my own footage (the gauges). It also has quite a lot of footage from a compute...

It's like the King Jammy one we discussed recently. :) Are you mixing with a midi controller? The lighting is too dark to see what desk that is, but each tim...

After years of using external hardware multitrack recorder, I moved to the PC solution...

Check this soundcard :
http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/D ... -main.html

Then get a good analog mixer (like Mackie VLZ one's) and you going to get real versatile component to use !

I have same drum bro, but was surprised by the noise coming threw the main output... a shame. Best is to record in MIDI to get each track splitted and then playback midi with a good sampler (or reuse the one of the TD3 but playing each track one by one). It's the way I use it and I achieve pretty ni...
