Yes, fully agree with you.
When it comes to recording and using this unit for the purpose it is actually made for I'd say forget about it.

Seems like a comp isn't used that much as a dub effect or my questions have just been to basic, don't know... Well, I got one for less than 50€ and it's not like a stand alone effect but very versatile to "round up" other units or to give them a special note. For the two aspects mentioned above it w...

Greetz, could you tell us how you solve this issue (I'm sure you will), would appreciate that very much. These transducers seem to be very sensible, one of mine is catching humm from the dimmer of the lamp standing near to it - very annoying, but on the other hand a nice effekt to play with. The oth...

That looks like a real nice pedal and an even really really nice mod!

I have the EHX Stereo Polyphase, where the the low and top end of the frequency range can be set. If I let it phase high frequency signals up to the top I get distortion too. But thats no problem in this case...

Are you sure that there's really no reverb at all? What's happening if you "kick" it? I don't know about the Pioneer but I have a Sansui, that was obviously made for the same purpose: Adding a very slight and tiny reverb to a hifi-sound-system. Speaking bout the Sansui there's a simple trick to conv...

Compressor questions

I'm thinking of buying a Compressor to create some pumping noise by sidechain compression triggert from the bassdrum. My first thought was the Alesis 3630: http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/5994/alesis3630zg6.png Can you recommend this or any other cheap unit? Might the second channel be useful to ...

Greetings. This Bus routing option looks nice for such a small mixer. Before you buy a desk you should always try to get your hands on it. You feel the faders moving and you can test if there's enough space beetween the knobs for turning the eq for example. A mixers that's great in a recording studi...

I found a site that had a sound demo, www.crumpled.com/negen2/gear/Effects/ra500.html i get close but i think this guy has a wetter reverb on "all Wet" I got this reverb too and was disappointed about the dry mix on the output. While searching how do modify this unit I found this message on the web...

Thanks for your reply.
I'm getting two Reverb Tanks from an organ builder.
A big and a small one and these Springs will need some power.

Do you know any one-channel headphone amps with integrated EQ?

Thanks,
Julian

U are right. I just read the FAQ: Q: Can I also edit entire songs with Direct Note Access? A: You can load whatever you like and experiment. Doing so can be interesting and even fun. With complex signals or entire mixes, the note detection can however reach its limits and perhaps not all the notes w...
