Thank you for the reply! So my amp has a "footswitch" output, 2 speaker outputs, and an "effects loop" line in and out.

Would any of these work? If so do I run the mixers fx send to the input of the amp, then the out from the amp to the return of the mixer, or to a channels input?

Thanks in advance

Removing Spring Reverb from Solid State Amp

Hi, I have a Crate GX2200H Solid State Head, that has a spring reverb unit in it. I want to remove the tank and use it as an effect send through a mixer.

Im sure I can figure out how to remove it, but is there anything else I must do to be able to run it through a mixer send track?

My computer does not recognize the mixer. When the mixer is hooked up via usb and turned on, nothing happens. Could this be the problem? Or does it not matter cause only the interface needs to be recognized by the computer? The best I could do was getting the drum/bass on ch 1 of mixer, and guitar/p...

So last night we recorded, bass, guitar, piano, and drums, all on separate tracks. Then for playback, I set the channels outputs to its corresponding channel, and shutoff all of the channels inputs. I used the snake to go from the outputs of the interface, to the inputs of the mixer. Heres the probl...

How to set up a live dub session

I have a 16ch analog mixer, an 8ch interface, and a DAW. How do I record a live reggae band, then play back the song while recording a live dub session of that track? How do I set it up using this equipment? Thank you!

I use the Re-20 through a mixer. The only complaint I might have, is that the vocals seem to be effected by the intensity knob, more than the snare drum. This means if the drummer cracks the snare drum, the intensity has to be turned up a little more, than if the vocals were getting dubbed out. Not ...

oh yea, when it comes to eq, I like to use the technique called sweeping. Finding the frequencies you don't like and removing them, leaves the ones you do like. I like the bass to be in the lowest range, then the kick drum a little above it, so they have different frequencies. I boost the highs a li...

Hey man I know this is an old post, but I thought it was a good question to answer. Right now I got a hand me down 10ch Yamaha mixer. Here's my typical set up for a live performance. 1)Lead Vocals 2)Back up Vocals 3)Snare Drum 4)Keyboard 5)Synth Aux) Reverb/Delay Bass runs through its own amp Guitar...

I like it man! Was this recorded in a one take live session? Or track by track? The mixing sounds spot on, except I might turn the bass up a tad, could be my headphones. This is a solid tune my friend, keep it up. If you are ever in the San Diego area I would love to play a show with you guys.
