Ok, the Tascam that I have is a portastudio 414. My sound is coming from another source (roland sp-808) into the 1st channel in the Tascam. When I run from the "monitor out" into the mixer and then back into the 2nd channel of the 414(while the tape is recording)...all I get is nast...
