I believe quite a lot of dancehall has been made on mc2000's. They have a good sequencer. I use a mpc 2000 to do hip hop and reggae. The only drawback is with them being old technology they use floppy disk drives which can only save 1.20 mb at a time, although you can use multiple disks. But the mpc...

Joyo Digital Delay guitar pedal
I had one of these for about a week, then it broke.
Also the delay time can occasionally change for no apparent reason .
Not reliable delay pedals.
So just to let you cat know.

Sounds a bit like a Stylophone on the 'Sugar Mam' tune? And maybe a staccato guitar through a delay on the King Tubby tune? I doubt it's the same instrument in both cases, but who knows? I think it could be easily replicated by using a low fi type keyboard noise through a delay and messing about wit...

I use a Squire P-bass, but I changed the pickups for better ones, I don't think it's necessary to have a particular expensive bass for reggae as the it's usually set with the highs all cut off anyway. You can pretty much get that sound out of any bass just by turning the treble nob all the way down....

Hi, my guess is that you need something like this http://www.synchrotech.com/product-usb/usb2-uscsi-conv_01.html But that is pure speculation. The way I'd go about it if Mesa is not a option is by using a midi to usb adapter and have your computer software triggering the sampler in sync, then both s...
