Fruityloops/Cool Edit Pro, Voice Processing

If you want to thicken things up a bit it's always worth doing multiple takes and layering them up to get a good thick sound, then if you pitch shift some of the takes you can get a decent sound, as always a bit of experimentation is required to get it going good.
Hope it helps
Pat

TC D two Question

Thanks Mike, I think that it'll help me get what I'm after, as I've been trying to get good results from my studio quads, and GSP5, and neither are giving the desired effect, and it should be realy easy to slot in and control via midi.
Cheers
Pat

Recommended dub compilation albums?

For more modern dub, I'd go for Planet Dub on Mammoth Records - it's great.
Enjoy

synth advice

Oh yeh- forgot something- Realy low (sub 50Hz) bass uses up loads of the amp power on rigs- I personally filter it out of the mix, cause otherwise soundsystems can realy struggle to reproduce it.

synth advice

I use a Clavia Nord Lead and Nord Lead 3, but would say that a nord modular or micro modular is probably the most versitile and cheapest way to get into virtual analogue synths- as they offer such complex and easily programable patch creation.
The best analogue bass synths I've tried is Juno 60...
