Look at this thread from Gearslultz. http://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/108252-jamaicas-microphones-60s.html But I wouldn't spend too much time and money buying old equipment like that. Perry did not know much about equipment and used pretty generic stuff, so buying an old lo...

There is really no such thing as "Dub" bass since dub is just remixed multitracks of reggae riddims. And reggae has many influences. I am a bassist for many years and can say there is no one thing bassist do in reggae for that "sound". Each bassist is different and each riddim is different. Real Roc...

I agree. The reverb is not very good at all. It sounds horrible on drums. Not at all like the original. Since it's geared towards guitar players they didn't consider us Dubheads. The real lovers of the SpaceEcho. They should come out with a rack mount or better yet take Fulltones lead and re-introdu...

I have used it. I think it's the best echo pedal out now. It doesnt sound like an RE-201. But it does sound good. I use it live, i am not taking a tape delay to a gig. No way. Previous commentor mentioned the intensity. This is true, but all delay/echoes pick up certain frequencies better than other...

I believe he was using a Mutron III and sometimes I think he used a Pollard Syn-Drum. I'm almost positive Jammy used the Syn-Drum. I know from experience that a Digi-Tech Envelope Filter will make very similar sounds. The Mutron is also an Envelope filter.

With that Fast Track you can get a total of 10 mono outputs. 9/10 are split from the stereo headphone output. I would use the Sub Groups to control your FXs and return them to a channel. You could use VST Fxs by sending out back to your DAW and returning to the board. I would definitely get hardware...
