spring and tape echo=humm problems?
Greatings, Seems like my RE201(tape echo) and my KORG GR1(spring reverb) are not friends!? when the power of the 201 is ON, there is Humm in the Korg. When at OFF, absolutly nothing... i ungrounded all i could except the jacks. The only way to have no humm is to unplug the input jack of the korg. th...

On a lot of vintage mixers, the aux are called echo and foldback, i think one is pre-fader and the other post-fader. the foldback was used to send signal to the wedges on stage. Later they called it Aux. So you got 2 aux with knobs send and one with a switch send, a kind of bus. interesting routing;...

Vintage EH Bad stone MK2 phase shifter
Greatings, I buyed this pedal 3 weeks ago and couldn't wait to modifie her. at first, this is a very very good pedal for dub because it has THE sound and a possibility to move manualy the freq of the phaser like a band pass filter. Two crucial dub effects in one pedal. the problem is that the switch...

The orange box is a 2nd generation of the modified wahwah i built. It's a crybaby (old one). I've heard that the Morley wahs were used in the 70's as a filter in some jamaicans studios...don't know if it's true but it's an interesting texture of filtering. Crunchy style... a wah is acting like a low...

Greetings, Yiannis explained it all very well... all i can say is that i effectively had a motu828mk2; the mine is with firewire so it can be problematic for you but there is some versions of this soundcard with usb2 (the mk3 i think...). the sound must be quite as good as the Emu and RME , i've hea...

Yep! i think it's better in pre-aux cause the mute i imagined was here to send signal to delay in a more brutal way than the faders. Anyway i'll see clearly the better way to implant this switch when i'll open the mixer; i don't want to make fatal mistakes while soldering the thing so it must be eas...

hmmm...instructive...thanks for sharing... i got few questions: the trimmers are the drive level and reverb level? is the drive a reverb input? the amount of sound going into the spring. and the reverb level is the output of the amplified spring signal? what about dry/wet signal? have you got only t...

try this: let the output of the pedal in the aux return and plug a guitar or any instrument directly in the input of pedal... does it work? if it works then you have a problem with the aux send. some desks have two kind of aux send, one per line and one general near the master track. check if these ...

The solutions are always seem to be simpler than I try to make them. Not only for ya bro! routing is like a road from point A to point B...there are quick and easy ones and some more complex. that make one of the originality of each setup and it make a big part of the sound you'll have! try diferen...
