Swinging Chad recommended the book "People Funny Boy" by David Katz on this board some time ago: "In the course of telling Lee Scratch Perry's life story he tells the whole story of Jamaican music. The best book ever on reggae."

I am not aware of any books dedicated to dub alone.

good luck..

"Bass Culture" by Lloyd Bradley is a general book on reggae's history up to the eighties.

here's a positive and a not so positive review:
<A HREF="http://www.hilltop61.freeserve.co.uk/re ... ositive, not so positive
