dub/reggae style skin for winamp

IMPORTANT note here about this skin: I've just finished some 'clean up' on it, I used to have different monitor in the past, where I could not see some differences of colors, especially in dark. So since I am using new monitor, now I can see some stuff to be fixed. Also it is only noticeable mostly if you are using flat screen-monitor or laptop. anyhow, this link abouver can not be updated, so do not use it. You do not need to unzip anything. actually..i'm still interested in your first skin...cos being a true olskool head, i've got winamp 2.xx and winamp3 didn't work properly on me pc..so..i guess i just have to wait for a better day.. ;) ez.

i really dig the skin there, but when i download it, it say that the skin is not supported by Winamp3?! i got it from Winamp so mi not sure what the problem could be...if the i have any ideas let i know, i would really like to have a few of your skins, but it all say the same thing... One Love

ok, Yesus Dread, there're allots of issues with winamp-3, it's options and the way it works regarding to skins. As I know the reason (or one of the reasons) some people get this 'not-supported' problem is related to alpha-desktop issue, which is only supported in W-XP and W-2000... ok, it'll be allots of borring blah blah... All I can do is to make a special version of the skin, which I sort of need to hide, so users don't get even more confused ..heh heh Now here's what you can try. I have a special coding version of Analog Studio version of Rell-To-Reel. You can download it from deviantArt here: <A HREF="http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/843049" TARGET="_blank">ZDL-ANALOG STUDIO LT skin for wa-3</A> "LT" - actualy means 'light text', because the most reason i've made this version was to make play-list and some other text(s) a bit brighter... many people were complaining about "too hard to see"... But also this version has no "reference" to desktop-alpha .... in xml code. So try this one, see if it works on your system. The original Reel-To-Reel skin, the one where the reels are a bit above the edge of the machine, really only can be used if you have W-XP or W-2000, you mast have desktop-alpha option, or the reels are going to look really ugly at the edges...., also it takes allots of CPU. One more thing. When downloading, I'recommend to right-click on download link and save target as, save the file somewhere on your computer first, make sure you select Save As ALL FILES, so you keep the same .wal file extension. You must keep .wal extention for the skin to work. After you downloaded the file somewhere on you computer, - THEN you copy/paste it into MyComputer/C:/Program Files/Winamp3/Skins folder. Try to avoid direct downloading from the server into Winamp3/Skins folder. I can't explain why, thou....
