Essential modern dub albums?

OK so we've had a thread on essential dub TRACKS... <BR> <BR>now how about albums? <BR> <BR>&#40;modern in particular because im already quite familiar with a lot of the 70s dub like king tubby, scratch perry etc.&#41; <BR> <BR>preferably I want recommendations for CDs available in the UK &#40;rather than vinyl&#41; <BR>nothing too rare!!!

Sorry 70's - the best dub album I've ever heard &#40;as apposed to a compilation&#41; is The Congos - Heart of the Congos. I've read other people describing it as the best dub album &#40;as apposed to a compilation&#41; ever as well. <BR> <BR>It was Dreazone's Second Light album from 1995 that turned me on to dub &#40;its a dub/dance masterpiece for me &#40;not formulaic dub&#41;&#41;.

I've been listening to Dub Trio this week. I don't think their first album will go down as a classic, but it shows promise, and they manage to pull off some cunning trickery live. <BR> <BR>The Dreadzone album is classic, although it's definitely not one for the purists. You have to like dancing, see...
