Hi there,

I wonder if someone knows if there's any video clips of dub maestros like Tubby, Perry, Tappa Zukie, TCDSS or anyone else. Generally, I'll be happy to see any good dub session recorded live.
Does anyone know some links for dub video clips?

Jah heights.

Dusan

Thanks Interruptor! I'll check it out.

Only Dub video I saw, was the one I downloaded from EMule and it's called "BDF Tribute To King Tubby & Augustus Pablo". It's a almost five minutes long clip of live dubbing. It's quite cool roots-reggae-dub in Pablo's style.

I don't know anything 'bout that BDF, but they seems fine (nothing unforgettable indeed, but it's a nice piece).

It's not free, but the DVD 'Roots, Rock, Reggae' features studio session footage of Lee Perry, and footage/interviews with Joe Higgs, The Gladiators, Mighty Diamonds, The Abbysinians, Third World and Inner Circle.
Filmed in 1977 I believe.

If you're into 'golden age' dub it's a must see.

Definitely that! Also check out the series "Deep Roots Music", which i dont think has been released on dvd or anything, but it available on various torrent networks. Also its all on youtube (search playlists for Deep Roots Music). There is a long clip of Prince Jammy dubbing Jail House Rock by Junior Ried.

The more recent documentary, Dub Echoes, is mostly interviews, but there is a brief clip of Scientist working the desk. Also check out Sideways555 youtube channel for several videos of Scientist Dubbing.
