Whazzup dubbas
I wanted to know about lee perry recording techniques with a 4-track.
I understand that he used a TEAC 3340,the 3340 has 4 ins and 4 outs, althoug lee used to record about 8 instruments...I have a tascam porta studio and I'm familiar to track bouncing, and theres also that other technique that you record 2 instruments per track (ex: Track 1L -Drums Track 1R percussion, etc).
But the 3340 has only just 2 L/R so how did he recored more than one istrument on the channel, with the possibility to Dub the mix latter ?
