Alborosie Dub Station

Post by TeleTubby » Tue Mar 03, 2026 5:23 am

Anyone using (the unfortunately discontinued) Alborosie Dub Station? I'm using it as an effects send in my DAW, though it's also kinda fun to use on individual channels, also. The filter doesn't really "click" like Mr. Ruddock's device did, or does. Haven't tried running the gain knob up but that's because I'm not looking for any additional saturation- guess I should experiment a bit more. Thankfully, my controller has a number of assignable pots so I can operate the bus sends/plug-in more like using a mixer and not a computer. Still new at it but fun to be trying to pretend to be knowing what I'm doing. 8-)

Looking for anyone doing the same, and any tips, suggestions, or solutions you might have come across- thanks much in advance!

I also used it a few years back and found it very useful. Particularly when twiddling the stepped hipass filter filter via a midi controller. The whole thing is discontinued but they released the filter alone as a seperate plugin.
