anyone know if anyone has sucessfully writen a software based delay that can give a decent performance (low-latency). comparable to an analog feedback delay through a desk w/ great headroom? i use an old yamaha 1516 mixer and different analog delays/echos, setup as feedbacks on their own channel. for me, it's responsiveness is necessary when i'm performing at live trance sessions. tiny movement's and timings expand into larger structures when the feedback get holds of em, so if software is really gonna "work" ( at least in a metaphysical way) it needs to be realtime. i have tried using things like reason, but even with a midi-controller it isn't too "playable" when it comes to feedback-delays. anyone have any success with this?

for Logic / Mac: built-in Tape Delay effect is quite impressive

for both PC and Mac: try TAL Dub delay

it's what i use in combination with hardware mixer and it works!

Hope it helps!
