automation with flstudio

Hi breddren! i man jus' wanna ask if someone can tell i man how to record the knob-tweaks i do in fruityloops and let them "play" with a press on the keyboard ... in meaning of "record delay and muting"-> "setting it to keypress D" and if i press D on the keyboard the preset get activated for several seconds and then the channel get muted. how do i do such tings?
