BASS...How?

Ok i got cubase and tons of vst's. I got the korg legacy collection and the minimoog. I was listening to mad professors "under the spell of dub" album, and wanted to create some similar bass. so far, even with my vst's it seems impossible. an example of a good bass i want is "false curl girl." its big and bassy, but almost not there. can anyone give tips on dub bass using synthesizers?

i don't know that particular tune but check the first paragraph on the bass section of the dub scrolls: <BR><A HREF="http://www.interruptor.ch/dub_bass.shtml" TARGET="_top">http://www.interruptor.ch/dub_bass.shtml</A> <BR>it's about how to program a synthesizer for a reggae bass sound. it should work with the moog emulation as well.
