DUB DISCUSSION BOARD

Hi, I am looking for a new soundcard for recording and dubbing. The one I have now &#40;8 ins / 4 outs&#41; is great for recording, but since it only monitor 4 tracks at once, it kinda sucks for dubbing. <BR> <BR>I saw this baby on a magazine: <BR><A HREF="http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/D ... -main.html" TARGET="_top">http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/D ... in.html</A> <BR> <BR>It has 8 ins, 8 outs, very high quality sampling and even 2 mic pre-amps for 200$. <BR> <BR>Is it a good buy? Any suggestions for PCI cards at that price?

as far as I know it's the best 8/8 card for the money. if 200 bucks is your 'cash to go' amount - just buy it. <BR> <BR>/respects

RME is top-line, and expensive, but m-audio is <BR>considered the good work-horse, with ok drivers <BR>and latencyes, just not in the RME-class,.... <BR> <BR>For 200 I would go for it, if not working at <BR>extremely low latenzyes, but you have to check <BR>out that your pc-chipset is compatible as usual <BR> <BR>M Audios could even be stacked :-&#41; &#40;16/16&#41; etc
