Hi there,
I was wondering what happend with these original tapes with tracks which King Tubby and others used to dub... I would expect some sample dub cd or even net leak ... Has anybody ever heard of anything ? Would be imho great to try dub the same material as masters ;-)

Haha funny thing: Just yesterday I've seen Dub Echoes documentary and there is sequence with Bunny Lee in his storage (?). Now I know where all these treasures are :-)

Bunny Lee says himself: "We started off with|these 2-track tapes.2-track tapes, in the 60s.Then we moved from them onto 4-track. Those are 4-tracks you see him holding. Then we moved from those onto 16-tracks and 8-tracks. 6-tracks and 8-tracks. Then we move onto 24-tracks. 16 and 24-tracks. Then we moved on. Those are some mixed tapes, at a 2-track. Some very valuable music, some irreplaceable music on that. ..... You've noticed that l've taped up plenty of them. When l'm going to use them l pull them. And we try to keep them in a cool condition."
