re 150 problem: weak sound

I just got the re 150 and it really doesn't have that strong of a delay sound even with the echo volume up all the way. and the 1 and 3 positions are really weak. does this mean that I need new tape, cause I was under the impression that the re 150 had a really big spacey echo.

Maybe you just need to clean the tape heads. <BR>you can use isopropyl alcohol & cotton buds for this. just dont let any alcohol get near rubber parts or lubricated moving parts.
