I dont know if im doing you a favour or just spamming but my Space Expander is up on ebay..

Even if you're not interested in it, you might get some ideas for mounting it from the pictures. This setup has worked well for me and i liked that the amp unit was still on show.
I can upload the photos of the unit soon so it'll still be here after the listing has finished
