DUB DISCUSSION BOARD

I've heard lots of bands make these sounds, i guess they make them on synths, please help me.
one example is: At 1:10 in the song Liquid Stranger - Drop Sacrifice.
another is shpongle - monster hit in the start. (im not sure this is a synth or a sample though)

its a pretty easy trick wich i was tought from a cousin, but it needs some
practise before you can do it right(i could not do it so well when i did the
recording but i just had learned it few hours earlier). i just found a tutorial
on youtube called water drop tutorial and there are more vidz propably
better than this one:

and please check out the links from your dubs, they dont work for me
