benidub d571 siren synth

Post by dubpunk66 » Sun Feb 12, 2023 9:25 pm

Hi all , can anybody offer some help , so i bought a benidub D571 thinking the sounds would merge with the vinyl i play , my set up is technics decks ecler nuo 2 mixer and i use a boss space echo pedal to add echo delay to the vinyl i play , so my long winded question is can the benidub siren sounds merge or does the sounds just sit on top of what im playing , as i thought it would work the same way as my boss pedal , hoping someone can make some sense outta what im asking , thanks

Just connect the siren to the third channel on your mixer and play it on top of the music for additional excitement. Many Dub/Roots sound systems play with only one turntable. Transitions between tunes are created by talking on the mic and/or using the siren together with an echo effect.
As an example see Jah Shaka starting at 10:36 in this Clip:
