Unless you know some second hand stores you can get to then I guess E-Bay is one of the primary places for old drum machines.

A sampler is an option. There are plenty of old school sample collections. And probably a lot of free old electronic drum samples available.

Are you looking for drum machines or those actual old syn drum kits that you hit with sticks like real kits?

You can find a DIY kit on ebay http://cgi.ebay.nl/Synare-Sensor-Synth- ... 3f010cdf8e

I have build two myself (not selling them) and they do the job very nicely

It was my first DIY kit , its fairly simple to put together and the guy who sold them to me was very helpful with my stupid questions so if you can solder, you should be able to build one as well

Solder of JAH army 8-)

Greetings SubTiel! props for the work on the Synare Sensor kit, it sure looks good! I have build one of these few weeks ago, and it was my first DIY project to. If i get some extra money someday i'll built some more. This kit is quite easy to built even for beginners, and its a nice Kit for every dubber.. The man who is selling them told me that he will be also working on a Synare 3 type kit soon.

one more thing SubTiel: i like the knobs you have used, do you mind telling me where i can get some for my unit?

Peace
