Hi Imanouel!

i recently bought an old Soundcraft 200sr similar to this:

http://www.trocmusic.com/images/annonce ... 223073.jpg

but mine is 16ch,

and sounds great! fat eq on bass and nice mid-hi and hi freqs, it has 4 aux sends 1 and 2 pre, 3 and 4 post fader but you can easily change that by opening your mixer and changing some jumpers.

Seller asked 300€ (280$) for it but VUlamps were fused, Aux 3 was dead and some pots were cranked so i got it for 200€ (180$),

now i'm moving to my new appartment where i'll restore it.

If you need a hardware mixer i wouldn't doubt it, long faders and simple electronics inside with plenty of space to repair, solder and modify it to your taste.

How many channels are you looking for? how much did they ask for the mixer?

These are good mixers, plenty expensive when new. The sheet metal and power supplies are worth more than you paid.

Cheers.

100% agree with rufus13!!!

power supply is totally reliable but be sure big electrolytic caps don't go out of range, those caps get dry over the years.

Clean pots, faders and switches and replace everything you see it can be problematic in the future

i'm fixing those little issues to mine and beloved old Soundcraft 200sr

Hope it helps!
