NEWBIE NEEDS HELP

hey pros, i need your help here!! i just want to buy a simple analog mixer but my friend keeps telling me that i need to have an ad/da converter ... i know that its function is to convert the analog signal into digital and vice versa, but i was thinking... don't all mixers have one? how do you identify those that have converters and those that do not? I can't seem to find this info in the specs, so its pretty confusing... plz help me out here...thx!!

Digital audio-interface is relatively new feature for analog mixers. <BR>Some newer models have it. <BR>Examples: <BR><a href="
