I just watched a Synare demo on YouTube. At first I thought, wow, that's a reallly realistic sound - then as it went on I realised that was just the acoustic sound of the stick hitting the pad!

That little board kit looks nice.

Percussive Synthesizer Model MPC

Yes Manu thats the one!! I'm sure this is the kit they used for their
fake-ass "JAH SHAKA SIREN BOX", "built exclusively by Jah Tubbys"!!!!!
fakers  it sounds exactly the same and the design looks the same
also!! bad mind people making good profits from nothing, just putting fake
names to it and lying..

I have built this one some time ago and last week i got the knobs for it
(Thanks to SubTiel). I will make some pics later, and will post them on here.

Yeah give thanx for the welcome brodda and for the DIY inspiration
always, offcourse.. the DIY virus has got me and thats the best way for
the dubhead i believe. i am already working on my next DIY projects,
a cheap bucketbrigade-echo unit
http://cgi.ebay.de/Echo-Hall-IC-Bausatz ... 53e259f08a
and a selfbuilt spring reverb. also i have just ordered a little stompbox
compressor DIY kit from generalguitargadgets.com because my bass
guitar really need the compression. for now i'm just learning to handle the
soldering iron but one day i want to be building my own sirens also 8-)

here some pics of my freaky box :

http://www.interruptor.ch/Php5/dubboard ... 0673#10673

that sds looks tasty :yummie: and the price is really ok i think.. it
seems like there are no hex pads with it, right? but still.... i will have to
talk to our drummer tommorow-----

peace

Yiannis
