Baroque Dub - Version Excursions 2
The second release in my reggae riddims' <b>version excursions</b> series features 'Wow and Flutter' (check out those cymbal crashes on '<b>Dubolitions</b>'), 'Analogic' and 'Tape Delay'(I just love that tape hiss!) - thanks, as always for your generosity. <BR> <BR><a href="http://baroquedub.co.uk/release_002.php" target="_blank">http://baroquedub.co.uk/release_002.php</a>

i like that cuss cuss track a lot. wicked.. nice bassline and groovically competent, yet still not denying it's electronic nature. the use of sounds is far more inventive than on "dubolitions" . that other tune sounds to me as if you sacrificed the creativity shown on the cuss cuss tune for the sake of sounding old school. still you didn't fully reach that seventies sound and the result to me is somewhat predictable and too clean. i feel i have that same problem on some of my own tunes too, so this is in no way meant to sound harsh :-) just hinting at a common problem..

a) Bit of the dub siren in there as well. <BR>Bass line is reminiscent of Natural Mystic. <BR>Nice smooth sound. <BR>There is about 12 seconds of silence at the end. <BR> <BR>b) I liked this one the most.

Yes, its difficult to reproduce the 70's sound (I can't). You have something a little different to that there, but nice enough.
