Hello all this is the HI-Vibes Soundsystem. just picked up a Rode nt1a microphone and i am very pleased. got right down to recording my friend JRas on the keys, melodica, and vocals. most of the parts taken down in whole takes in a cloud of smoke and put together in our first session together, so check it out and let me know what you think, shoots!

Hi,

Some good things going on but for me all the reverb is making things clash a bit. I think you need to carve some space out for things with eq - if you haven't already I would try cutting back the bottom end of most of the reverb. The bass makes me feel a bit seasick, it's like a boat lurching about.

haha at least it isnt "not enough bass" Just reuploaded Session 1 after cutting the bass out of the reverb and tweaked the eq some more.
Also uploaded Session 2, what I like to call the HI-Vibes theme song. go check it out!
