Hoester Sound System - Babylon (Original Version)
The horns are playing their arrogant chant, but the end is already near: Babylon is falling... Hoester Sound System back again with some nice Roots sounds upon a classical topic. The now released original version uses slight Dub effects only, it has more of a Roots Reggae instrumental than of a Dub. However, the song is a great source for Dub material, thus I have prepared two Dub versions already to be released soon. If somebody is interested in making further Dubs or remixes, just contact me.

'Babylon' song page on mp3.com

Peace,
Hoester

I like it this way.
it'sa kinda' classic situation, you always can extend the mix with extra dubbed-out-your-mind twist
Good soundin'horns. Also the mix is tight and 'nicely monophonic', I only say 'monophonic' in comparing (or vs.) with wide-open spacy stereo-field mixes, where everything is flying around and can't "find its place"..he he he, if you know where i'm headin' here ;)

what's the 'voice'-double ? , I like the way you stir'it-in and dub-it-out.

nice to hear nu-dubs as always,

respects,
later

/Mike Zee
