THUNDERSTORM [Forecast Dub] from "Stone Collecto

This is an important part of new release - the movie soundtrack, film score-album: STONE COLLECTOR [The Film Score]
*****
THUNDERSTORM [Forecast Dub] (play, download here)
*****
This is the only dub track on the album.
I was working on the soundtrack, which is mostly piano-leading symphonic electronica type of music, with exeption of the last track ON STALE SOIL(final credits), which is a downtempo/trip-hop rendering of the main theme. I had the "THUNDER musical theme" already in the score. But I needed the 'spot' of 'thunderstorm forecast on the radio', and the 'dub-form' worked out the best way.
So, the whole 'idea' of the film and music is about 'stone collector' - the character, who comes and mar (or disturb) 'your' still, or better to say STALE life.
Symbolism here is: stone collector comes and moves, turns over the stale soil. Nothing sweet grows on stale soil. So "the soil" is waiting for someone to come.....
ok, blah blah...
but here's another symbolic thought.
Stone Collectors chase 'big waters run', which is heavy rain, 'cos heavy rain washes off some 'good collectables' (the stones)...
So the 'forecast of THUNDERSTOM' is a sort of metaphoric forecast of 'hope that someone may come to our place' to stir, move, turn over - MAR our stale soil, or our stale life (in general)....
well, you've got some idea...

I am telling you, guys, all this, so you may get some sort of sense of meaning of the track, if the meaning means anything for dub track....

best regards to all,
and respects,

/Mike Zee
/ZEE DUB LAB METAL DOOR DUB
/mp3.com/mikezee
