it seems you are using the free URL redirection service http://www.ulimit.com.
- try to find out if other redirected URLs by ulimit still work.
- i am sure you had to create a user account at ulimit when you started the redirection. this usually comes with some sort of "member area".
check out if it still works and try to contact their customer service.

Almighty Dub Winter Release (KoCha/MunkyLee)

hi KoCha & Munky
i finally found some time to dowload and listen to these two tracks.

Raiser Dub: I like the way you tweak the eq in realtime on the spring reverb - reminds me of tubby's dubs. the basic tracks by munky are excellent anyway (no wonder munky's mix of this tune made it's way on the "root of dub funk 2" album!) I feel the drums could have been mixed a bit louder and probably more consistent (less drum mutes) to give the mix some more drive. This is an interresting mix with a lot of movement and changes.

Forivah Dub: A big improvement since your first dubs I commented on a few months back. Full chords, more instruments, melodica playing. The instrumentation seems still a bit shakey (the musical idea is rather vague, basically developped around two notes). The additional instrumental lines (melodica, organ, guitar) somehow fail to give the track a strong identity and thus it starts to get a bit monotonous in the second half.

if you keep improving at this rate kocha you'll soon be FIRE..

Hi interruptor!

Very very happy to get comment's from you!

You are the first dubheaded i contacted when i started music and i'm always happy to hear your advice.

1 Raiser Dub. Yes munky lee has down the base tracks fantasticaly! and it's a real pleasure for me to mix that... so it's sometimes crazy because i have mix in 4 tracks (percu +drum on same tracks). Yesterday i have make a big descicion for my future dub trakcs : 6 tracks with Kick, snare / hihat separated...
For more powerful mix i think.. but i can apply that on raiser dub beceause i have not all tracks separeted.

2. Forivah Dub. I just learn this two late weeks a lot of theory about music... now i understand what it's "Harmonie"... and why some chords sound better than other.
And if you found the second half a bit monotous it's because it's praticely exactly the same as the first.. but i love do long mix so i exented the tracks with looping.. not very beautiful i know ;-)

Many thx to you interruptor. And many thx to your site that help me a lot.

Jah Bless

KoCha
