New spring reverb plug-in raises the bar

Post by noiseboy » Sun Oct 03, 2010 1:08 pm

The Overloud Spring Age plug-in is not bad at all for a simulator. It still doesn't 'feel' like any real spring that I've ever used but it's quite possibly the best audio software plug-in I've tried (and I've tried most of them!)
Seems like it was only relesed a short while ago. Check it out. It's really very boing-y.

I just tried it.
It is indeed good and the best plug in spring reverb I've tried.

Late to the party but i did like this plug, interesting parameters. Spring tension, boingy and brightness really gives the subtle tweaks that work.
Biggest shame is i cant kick my computer to make it clap like thunder magic!

"looks" very good indeed, i think i have to try the demo soon...

recently i bought "spirit reverb" wich is a springverb as well.

What do you think of it? I personally like the sound and i feel that it sounds quite realistic compared to the 70`s dub i`m listening recently.

I just listened to the demo vid on the page and they were being shy with it, kinda hard to make out what it will sound like when you start opening it up to dub standards. It didnt add much personality on those dreamy guitar riffs, i'd love to hear you use it "properly" :)

Spirit Verb is awesome, and also comes as a never ending demo, so basically it's free! I've used it a few times but keep coming back to Logic's Rackmount bright preset
