It reminds me of KarmaComa (Massive Attack), but how do I put this nicely? with the good bits taken away.
I don't think leaving out any bass or drums makes it better. How heavy duty can that be?
Nice cover artwork though.

That might sound harsh, but it's my honest reaction.

I like those very simple monotonous and thus hypnotic electronic beats a lot. On the other side I don't understand why you chose to mix it without bass and very much in the background. The voices are very loud in comparison.

reminds me of the stuff Iration Steppas used to play - very stripped down beats, however the introduction of some kind of b-line would only add to it - preferably as late in the track as possible!
