Hi all,
First off, I'm in love with the organic sound of spring reverbs. I'm new here and looking for a bit of help, getting my first spring tank. My question is fairly simple: I'm confused with regards to impedance. Each tank has several input and output impedance numbers. Basically I want to match it to my current gear, which is mostly semi pro (old analog Tascam mixers, portastudios etc...). I want to run it in an effects loop (I was thinking of using the aux/effect send ------ > reverb tank input ---------> then reverb tank output into one of the mic/line channels). Tell me, do I generally look for the smallest impedance on a reverb tank to match my semi pro gear? I would really appreciate some help 'cause I'm confused. Thanks!!
Please help with impedance matching
