hi
i think many VSTi synths can be used to create bass. i used synth1 many times in the past. last year i created a dedicated bass synth vsti "twin bass" which is equiped with helpful features for bass tones. you can download it here:

hi
i have no experience with sonar, but the problem of vsti's not showing up occurs on other daws also. check the following:
- did you copy the twin bass vsti to your vst directory? check in your daw settings where the vsti directory for sonar is. (if you have more than one daw there might be different vsti directories some of which are not scanned by sonar..)
- at startup a host should scan it's vst directory for new plugins. new plugins are analysed and then displayed inside the daw. look in your daw settings whether you can actively start a re-scan of all plugins. then see if it appears.
Sonar has a help page with instructions which show how to do this:
http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/kb/read ... 2007012959
- sometimes a new plugin is analysed and then rejected for some reason. some daws generate a log file with error messages during the scan. you should check this file and see wether it says something about the new plugin.
Does this help?

I have used your VST stuff and still do. I working with both Mac and PC and it's a shame that you don't do OSX versions of the VST's and wonder if this is something you plan to do in the future?
Give thanks again for the works and inspiration!

hi sliver
thanks for your kind words!
unfortunately my plugins are programmed with synthedit which is a construction kit type of software working on windows only. so i cannot generate OSX version. i would have to make the dive into native c coding. something i didn't have the time for so far.
best regards
