This is great. I also use a bcr for dubbing. They are so flexible. Its also fun to make the solo buttons momentary so you can quickly cut to a solo’d part. Are you using ableton direct midi mapping or something like an isotonik script for the bcr?

Instead of mixing in the box I use two scope boards from soniccore (ex creamware) configured as a digital mixing board. These are midi controlled by the bcr2000. The advantage is that i can connect my external effects without latency.
