Congratulations Munky Lee.

'Duboratory's Theme' really is a heavy Dub, though the synth skank sounds a bit too synthetic in my ears. The song is available for streaming at Munky's mp3.com site:

Duboratory's Theme

Respect,
Hoester

www.mp3.com/HoesterSoundSystem

Yeah, Duboratory'sTheme is a real good one. Love that filterin'move on analog-synth-like bass. Synth chords? I don't know. I kinda like it. It's electric'n'smoothening sort of ;) Goes fine with the mix, maybe could be 'choped-shorter' or randomized more or something, but hard to say...., I like the way it is, generally. Nice work, ML!

be-well,

/Mike Zee
zee dub lab

the "duboratory's theme" tune is made with the soft Reason, great one.
the bass is a classic sub bass.
I'm trying to find a good subbass setup, but I can't find something that I really like. the Reason analog synth is too complicated for me...

concerning the "skankin'" synth, it's a 1Khz test tone put on the sampler, and played with the keyboard.

I'm really pleased that you enjoy my stuff.

mat

for sub-bass sounds theres a plug-in in one of the Maxim packs (cant find the URL right away) that does just that , (NOT sub synth , which stands for subtractive).
as for hardware , theres a very cool and not very expensive bass enhancer by Behringer which i thought sounded pretty good , cant remember the name though.
try a search for maxim , or else look on www.sonicspot.com they have loads of cool free software.
