Geeee, man...silly question. Depends on kicking-style and amount of anger, I guess ..heh heh ..you sure can kick the sh*t outa' your amp. Btw, if you even kick/or even slap 'gently' amp with spring while the amp is up in volume and reverb knob is hard-up(right)...you get pretty bashy and loud 'spring crash'... the whole thing is a dumb-bumber act..lol. you bassicly shake the spring...and so you get the 'boing..shshhs' .., you can pull the tank out of the amp, keep it connected (may need longer leads thou...) and then kick just the tank as much as you want to... or shake it... or drum with silver spoons on it (that have not been done yet...as I know of)...

/respects,
/Mike Zee aka Dr. ZEE

that's right pavle

to be on the safe side you may consider recording an amp-kicking session and then draw from the archive when needing some spring crashes. this way you will only endanger your amp once.
if you think this would takes the emotional drive out of your dub mix then it's "no risk no fun" for you

Be warned though, exploding fireworks inside a guitar amp can cause some damage, but it makes some fantastic sounds.

Don´t use a hammer, use a REAL axe

Drop from third floor is also cool
(for a more "wodden" sound that is)

HM :-)
