What ya thinkin `bout ticklah?

Post by JahNice » Tue Feb 12, 2008 4:03 pm

Hey Peolpe! I just heard the new album "ticklah vs Axel Rod" by Ticklah (also has produced Dub side of the moon and other E.S.A.S stuff, and tunes for Amy Winehouse(!) and others)
and i like it alot!
Sounds very warm and old/vintage with a scintist flavor on some tunes and some latin influences on some other tunes..
best tunes are "Nature loving Dub", "Nine years", "answer me", "want not feat. tamar kali", "scratch to win", "rescue me feat Mikey General" and "pork eater feat. Rob Simeon"..

Ok, now i would like to hear your opinion.

...and if you know any similar recordings please let me know!

...and does anyone know if one could get this on Vinyl? i have only found a 7" with the Mikey Genral tune........

Greetings to One and All

I got his album "roots combination" which was a little revelation to me when it came out. Listening to the tunes on his myspace page it seems to me this new album is even more varied. I do like his sound a lot.
More samples can be heard over here.
