Dub of Iron

This is just a rhythm track really - drums and bass in the true warrior style. Any comments about the levels in the mix would be welcome.

Yes.. The levels are well balanced. How did you create those weirdo pitched echoes? Well done 8)
The bass line contains notes which sound off key here and there. Maybe cleaning it up a little in the sense of condensing it to it's essence would be worth a try. Make sure to keep variations too though as this is what keeps the track interesting in the absence of a lead instrument or voice.

:D :D :D

Thanks interruptor for your kind words and encouragement! It means a lot, coming from you. This forum is a great place to improve man's dubwise skills.

I can't remember exactly how I made the pitched echoes.

To avoid hogging this board, from now on I'm releasing all my tracks on my blog:

There's a new one there already, called 'Najaf', and a chance to leave comments where suggestions and feedback by dub listener can be left.
