This is brilliant. A well balanced combination of traditional ska music and some moderately modernised elements. I am in love with that trombone sound since hearing Nilda Richards touring with Burning Spear in the late eighties..
The Sound quality is flawless and very up to date. One tune "The Original" has too much reverb on the snare in my opinion and the singer on "Stand Tall" is not on the level of the rest of the production (I guess you know that already, given the fact that the tune is at the end of the album).
I wish you lots of success with this album and hope you get the deserved rave reviews elsewhere..

thanks very much! yep.. i agree with both of those points.. we have a few new singers for the next album. it has been going well for us - people seem to like it, and we're getting a live show together...
on the burning spear.. there is a version of marcus garvey on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWv_e-xGQkY
