Does anyone have any experience of using any popular control surfaces with Logic 8?
I'm looking at getting one for the purposes of live dub mixing. So far I think the best one in terms of functionality and price is the Behringer BCF2000, the Korg Nanocontrol looks interesting too, more simple but also half the price, and it will fit straight in my laptop case. M-Audio do a good priced one too, about the same price as the Behringer, but it seems less functional, no motorized faders etc.
I just need faders to control my channel volume as you'd expect and I'll have a couple of aux channels set up with effects and I'll need to assign knobs to control the aux sends on my channels. Did anybody do anything like that?
I just want to give something that gives me basic channel strips like you'd see on a real mixer. |

Sounds like those who've used the BCR like it. I guess next month I'll give the BCF a go. I'll let you know my feelings about it once I've had chance to play with it.
Thanks. |
