Daniel,
-no.

If only I could
I actually was trying to learn how. heh heh...
When winamp first came out with its skins option I've so much into it, that I actually got myself C++ big pack with all software etc, hoping to learn to create visual plugins for music player(s)...
So I've learned some primitive basics, and then quit on it, simply 'cos I've figured I will never have time to get into it, it's like never enough time for making music in life.
Graphics design is different, technically its easy.
Btw, interesting thing I've noticed.
I've designed allots of gifs in the past, similar to this one, but mostly was including things like digital lcd display, and they are/were kinda ok, but, man, is it SOMETHING MAGIC eye-catching in the way analog meters look. There is something special about them, they create some sort of illusion of real thing and you almost can feel amp-pressure ...you know what I mean.
If you put there something like segment-light meters they will not do the same trick....
well, maybe it's just in my imagination or something ...

later,

respects,
/Mike Zee

    Hi ziggy,

First of all make sure that you place/download skin(s) into correct location (folder) on your computer.
Usually it is winamp skins folder.
Commonly it is in Progam Files/Winamp/Skins.

Skins for winamp can be as folders containing .bmp image files and few text files or skins for winamp can be .zip files, another words, for winamp, you don't need to unzip the file you download, just place/download the .zip file into ProgramFiles/Winamp/Skins folder.
Actual name of the file - becomes the Name Of the skin, so you also can re-name the file the way you wish.
Next, to change skin in winamp:
1. Start Winamp
2. Click Winamp Menu (left top coner small button)
3. In menu you'll see 'Skins', or you can go Options/Skins. When You point 'Skins', you actually will see all the skins available, so just select the one you desire.
You can change skin any time this way, but again you need to make sure that all your skins are in that Winamp/Skins folder derectory.

Let me know if you have any problems.
Also there's newest winamp3 now, which I don't have here, I use latest Winamp2.
As I know Winamp3 will not work with windows 95. And Winamp 3 has some newer skins option, called free form skins, which I did not have time to play with yet.

Check out ZDL Reggae/Dub skin: HERE (MZE-Electroarts Skins)

/respects,
/Mike Zee

well, guys, just alittle note here about winamp-3 regarding to skins.
I've just went through bunch of info there.
Well, first of all wa-3 is completely different program from wa-2, from programming point.
It's pretty cool for user.
But no way in hell I am ever going to make anything custom for this. You've gotta be a some real nerd to do that ..heh heh heh I just don't have time for these toys.
All wa-2 skins are supported by wa-3, but limited, it basicaly only keeps main view and eq-view (with mini-view for each), but all other windows will be default.
Well from point of view mp3-player it's fine.
All other windows are specific for visualisations, browzer, video, couple others, which are basically just 'windows', you know...

Well, anyway, if you have newer computer systems, fast processor, ram etc..., windowsXP, then go for wa-3, it's pretty cool, bunch of cool visuals..., I'am sure there'll bee allots of plugins etc in the future....

ok,
later,
guys...

respects,
/Mike Zee

    ok, it's done ..heh heh
the winamp-3 version of this skin.
well, it's like allots of work to put it together, so it keeps the same look and still have all the winamp-3's functions.
still couple of little glitches.
anyhow, if you are using new winamp-3, then this is better skin, 'cos it has those extra buttons, x-fade button, MusicLibrary button, also has custom thinger etc.
Also keep in mind, that winamp-3 skins are not .zip files, but .wal files, which are actually a sort of specific zipped files for winamp.
DO NOT try using this skin with winamp-2 - will not work.
Same place here:
zee skins

later,
respects,
/Mike Zee
************
ps, maybe later some day when I have a bit more energy, I may try to create some dub-skin with custom form and stuff...
