Makin a gwaan base line

Anybody help in what software i could use to make Base Line? how do normal producers do this?? i normally record riffs from a keyboard and lower the frequency?? help

i do most bass lines with my sampler. there are different software sampler's available.

also on your keyboard you could probably do some editing of the available preset sounds and thus get a dubbier bass. follow the tips on the bass page: <A HREF="http://www.interruptor.ch/dub_bass.shtml" TARGET="_top">http://www.interruptor.ch/dub_bass.shtml</A>

Try using a real bass through a Low Pass &#40;high Q&#41; <BR>filter-rrrrrough!!!
