anyhow, i myself never've been there, so can't really tell you where to get the best fish-meal there, but I've heard that you can't go wrong with fish in London :)

okey,
since you may get any reply from uk-guy on this board somewhat later than in four days, so I've tried to search, here's what I've found:
uk record shops
i gues you sure want to visit that Dub Vendor at:
274 Lavender Hill SW11
Tel: 020 72233757
DubVendor

drop a note about what it's like, what Ya got etc...
hope you'll have a fun time...

/respects,
/Mike Zee

for second hand instruments and equipment i only know the "music & video exchange" stores at notting hill gate. here's a quote from another site "Get out at Notting Hill Gate station and (before turning to Portobello Market) to the Music & Video Exchange stores (34 - 42, 56, 65 Notting Hill Gate) selling soul, house, hip hop, techno, drum'n'bass, r&b, reggae, funk, acid, jazz, garage, bargains (42 Notting Hill Gate) rock, indie, folk, blues, tapes, vinyl, deletions, rarities (38), singles on 7'' & CD (40), classical music (36), film & tv, shows, books, posters, memorabilia (34), computers & games (65) and musical instruments & equipment (56)."

These are the Reggae Shops in London that I have visited about a year ago:

Reggae Revive: 26 Chamberlayne Rd, NW10 3JD

Dub Vendor has 2 shops:
1. 274 Lavender Hill, Clapham Junction, SW11 1LJ
2. 150 Ladbroke Grove, W10 5NE

Daddy Kool: 12 Berwick Street, Soho, Tube: Tottenham Court Road

Blacker Dread: 406 Coldharbour Lane,Brixton, SW9

All Tone: 96-97 Granville Arcade,Coldharbour Lane,Brixton, SW9

Supertone: 110 Acre Lane, Brixton, SW25UL

more reggae shops and phone numbers can be found on this page from the disciples great site

i hope this helps :-)
greetings

Hi, back from London now. Thanx for your help. Coudn't visit any of the shops thou. Hard to find any conputers with internet. But I had a great time. Bouth some nice old reggae vinyls.
I also vised Aba shanti-I reggae club "Imperial gardens. If anyone comes to London you must see Aba shanti-I. The sound at that place was so good, somtimes he put the bass so hi that it was hard to breath.

But I have planty of time visiting the other reggae shops, becouse it's so cheep flying to london (40euro back and return from sweden).

What we also got in mind is a big dubfestival with different soundsystems outa europe all together, to relly rock berlin. Our club aim is to share connections and be constantly inna publik to move the dub thing forward and give the people lovely vibes.
Anyone (Artists, fans, locationholders, record store owners, music studios and everyone from the bid JAH Family) is invited to help us dub growing.
Please contact Georg at dubfoundationberlin@gmx.de
If there are people inna Brixton, London ore anywhere else inna u.k. are interested to build up a club similar to that, please contact i+i and i+i will send information to you blessed ones.
