Hi HM,
thanX much for doin'dis
this cut with guitar sounds great.
It woud be really cool and helpful if you just could make a cut of some vary hits, rim shots, snare, kik, kik+shot, kik+snare, some skanks (piano, guitar, organ etc) with some random tweaks on the unit. You don't need to be detailed on what settings are etc.... dubbin'guys know the deal.... you know, but it would be cool simply to hear the unit in action. if you have time to spend on doin' this stuff....
thanks again,
/much respects

/Mike Zee aka DrZEE
ZDL

Henrik,
check this topic: spring reverb plugins, I wonder if you are talking about the same plug-in from PSP (Easy Verb). I have a little mp3 there to download...just to hear some samples agains the original(dry) smples. Daniel din't like it. I don't have a real spring to do a 'real' test.
Also check this blah in regard to testing plugins and comparing it to some external analog gear. There're issues there: topic-Which Phaser Plug-In do you use?

respcts,
Mike Zee aka Dr. ZEE

Yeah, Henrik, Daniel mentioned this E-Verb ...I've got the demo-version to check out. did very quick "test", not test ...but just did try with some samples. I'm skeptical about "realism" of it as spring (but I always was ...what else is new, heh heh ), to me most issues with plug-ins vs hardware effect processors (especially vinage/analog) is not mostly about the actual process through result, but more about the way producer 'usually' use them...many other aspects are in the 'mix' when using hardware processors...and also the way you mix/send/return, real-time-control with your hand etc etc.... all this effecting the outcome.
This PSP plug is great for "other" use thou ..as reverb in general.
Try it...post what you think...when you back and have a moment...take your time ;)

/MZ aka Dr. ZEE

Blaminack just released "bredren unite" at
versionist using the PSP thingy,... sounds
very nice and "springy" after all, I don´t
actually understand its the same plug that
disapointed me so much, so I hope to test
out some more later,... it is not useless.

HM
