Interruptor:

Just wanted to give you many thanks on the tape echo plugin. It's exactly what I needed. I tried alot of other plugins but yours is the easiest and most effective. I got rid of my Danelectro Reel Echo and am using your plugin exclusively for that effect.

Your delay is wonderful. I love the way it can add flutter to the echos, I have been after something to do this for ages. My only request is could the controls for the flutter and lfo be made a little bit bigger as they are a bit hard to adjust..

Great plugin though!

Keith (u.k)

The Wow & Flutter function is awesome. It would be nice to have a Wow & Flutter only plugin(no echo). With a bit of distortion it would be the perfect tape emulation (there are no tape emulations which emulate wow & flutter!!!)

mescaloso: you theoretically cannot create wow&flutter in realtime without a delay because wow&flutter means increasing and decreasing the speed of reproduction. you would have to predict the future of the incoming signal if the replay speed becomes higher than the original speed.

it would be possible however to create a plugin that slows the incoming signal down for a short period of time and then lets it catch up again. i will think about creating one like that.. thanks for the idea!

in the meantime if you use the plugin on a single track in a harddisk recording system or midi sequencer you you can achieve a pure wow&flutter effect as follows:
- set the delaytime to 1/4 note and GROOVE to 50%, FEEDBACK to 0%
- move the whole recording on that track back in time by 1/4 note.
- et voilà..

Sup,

Just wanted to say im really fucking happy with this plugin. Been looking for a plugin like this for ages. Always used the tape delay in logic, but since they went mac i had to change to cubase/nuendo. For the sequencing stuff i didnt bothered me but i hated to give up the awsome effects build in logic. Most were easily replacable....besides the tapedelay.... And now it finally is and even in the exact same form
Great job man, really love this plug. My Fx setup is finally complete.

Many thanks for the plug. Usually I record my synths live through the space echo, and everything is ok. But sometimes I need some more delay during the mix, that's why I use your "analogic delay".
I hate plugz, but yours is essential. Thanks again!

JC from Nantes (France)
http://prajna.prajna.free.fr/

Finally someone made the Logic Tape delay available for other host applications. Only one small remark about the VST ‘versions’. I think that with the Logic version the filters are situated in the feedback loop of the delay. This way the sound changes every time it cycles thought the loop (and the filter slope becomes steeper every cycle). In the Tape delay and Bionic Delay the filters are situated at the input or output (I guess?). This results in a static filter effect. If it is possible to change this you will probably end up with an exact copy.

Great job, respect!

DJaXXz

Anyone have any luck using this with a midi controller? I can see the CC numbers, but is there a specific channel I should be sending the signals to?

Interruptor,
First a big thank you for your delay. As Mescaloso I'm after a wow&flutter that could be run in realtime. Wondering if you could help here.

Kind Regards
Piet

Interruptor,
Thanks very much for your response. Yes I did read your intermediate procedure. I'm using it right now for testing.I did see also another delay of yours with (white) noise?. I'm realy looking for a sollution that will mimic the old vintage tapes from a valve/head/ tape point of view. Both pre and post processing are being looked for.I'm wondering if you could help?

Kind Regards, Piet
