I used to have for long lime DR-606. Sold it simply 'cos i've found myself tired..no, better to say sick of drum-kits sounds from it. It was only good for lazy guitar practice ....
well, why I'm mentioning this is to say that the only way to program paterns/songs with these boxes is to slowly read the manual (which usually are not much of a help...) and follow each step and then do it again and again untill you finally get used to it. There's absolutly NO WAY in hell to be able to do it by try-and-see method ;-).
I myself was doing it for some time, but then gave up ...and simply used it as midi-sound module, and I was sequensing midi-tracks in computer-sequencer (I used cakewalk) ...midi-cable from computer to the box...and there you have it. If you have computer sequencer...do it..much easier and you have more control and no limit.
Now if you really need to stuff the box with sequences, then you must have manual. Nobody can help you who does not have 202 and actually use its song-mood programming.
Sorry, can't help you...simply because I never had 202... the box is pretty cool thou...

good luck,
/Mike Zee aka Dr. ZEE
ZEE DUB LAB
